Fort Campbell Army Fisher House

Fort Campbell Army Fisher House Fisher House Foundation donates "comfort homes," built on the grounds of major military and VA medical centers.

A temporary "home away from home" for families of patients receiving medical treatment at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital, or their local healthcare partners, including the VA.

*We do not endorse any company/product/organization mentioned in posts. These homes enable family members to be close to a loved one at the most stressful times - during hospitalization for an unexpected illness, disease, or injury.

We are proud to introduce our 2025 Volunteer of the Year, Ms. Armanda. A veteran herself, she slips in quietly once a week and goes about cleaning the house. Our guests may only get a glimpse of her, but her efforts are certainly seen and appreciated by everyone! Thanks, Armanda. We are happy to have you on our team!
Ms. Dawn (right) presented her with this beautiful star flag in honor of her service & dedication.

Her name is Kaitlyn Kohler, and we were blessed to have her visit and perform for us tonight. Beautiful lady, beautiful voice. And the daughter of a Navy veteran. She's lived the life and knows the sacrifices. We'll be rooting for her and look forward to seeing her career progress.

From all of us at the Fort Campbell Army Fisher House, we wish you a very Merry Christmas and a happy New Year!

Our Story

Fisher House Foundation donates "comfort homes," built on the grounds of major military and VA medical centers. These homes enable family members to be close to a loved one at the most stressful times - during hospitalization for an unexpected illness, disease, or injury.

Our home was dedicated on June 6, 2006. As of September 2018, we have been home to 1122 families, providing over 10,000 nights of lodging, with an average stay of 9 days. This equates to an estimated savings of $1,151,955 to our guest families. Over 60% of these families were here due to deployment related injuries & illness, while 9% were here to support a retiree or veteran family member. With a staff of only 2, we’ve relied on our volunteers. They have logged nearly 18,000 hours - the key word being “logged”, as many of them don’t keep track. ;)

Thank you to everyone that has been part of our story!
