Allnutt Funeral Service - Drake Road Chapel Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One
The staff members of Allnutt will guide your family in creating a meaningful ceremony. Thomas G. Frederic J.

We have years of experience caring for families, from all walks of life. Each family comes to us because they know we are leaders in our profession, dedicated to excellence in service, and have the highest integrity. Our History
Allnutt Funeral Service is, according to the Colorado State Chamber of Commerce, the oldest continuously operated family business in northern Colorado. A sailor and native

of the whaling island of Nantucket, "Capt." Macy came west following the Civil War. He was elected the pioneer Coroner of Weld County in 1884 and our records indicate that he conducted his first funeral service on April 6, 1886. Allnutt, born in England, came to Colorado as a young man. Desiring a college education he enrolled at the Normal School now the University of Northern Colorado. Frederic boarded at the Macy home and helped Capt. Macy in the undertaking business. Frederic married Capt. Macy's daughter Anna and joined his father-in-law at Macy's Undertaking Company in 1900. Anna and Fred's son, John, joined his father and grandfather in the business in the 1920's and son, Lloyd, in the 30's. Jack and Bill Allnutt joined their father, John, in the 1950's, becoming a fourth generation funeral service firm. In 1985 Rick Allnutt joined his father, Bill, and Uncle Jack, to become the fifth generation of his family to serve Northern Colorado in funeral service. Allnutt Funeral Service's goal is to perform with the same caring concern that began over a century ago with Great-Great Grandfather Macy. After five generations, and over a century, not much has changed in our philosophy of caring for people. Our sincere interest in people is a family trait of which we are proud, and one that we inherited from our forefathers. It is essential in the service we provide, and caring for others will carry us into the next generation. Connecting People Through Life Through Loss

A ceremony can be anything you wish it to be: simple or elaborate, traditional or unique. No matter how it's tailored, such a ceremony is an important step in recovering from loss. OUR MISSION
The mission of Allnutt Funeral Service is to preserve our legacy of family serving families by providing compassionate, exemplary service that is built on generations of giving back, quality ethical service, and genuinely felt care, improving our service experience with each generation. Funerals as Unique as Your Life
Life is full of opportunities to show someone we love them. One such opportunity is the funeral or memorial service. Such a loving event celebrates the choices they made, the relationship you shared, and honors the memory of your loved one. Honoring Life
It's important to take the time to acknowledge the uniqueness of the deceased: the individuality of their personality, and the uniqueness of their life's path. Not just for them, but for you; it affirms the relationship, and leads to healing after loss. Honoring their life is truly an act of love – for the both of you. Designing Your Funeral
Taking the time to design your service is a loving act, and not a difficult one. We invite you to explore the seemingly infinite number of ways to celebrate and honor a life. Funeral Services
It's often seen as easier not to have a memorial service or funeral, and it's certainly seen as a less expensive alternative. But we're here to say this: an easy, cheaper path is not always better one. Grief experts all agree: a ceremony is an important part of the healing process. Family Owned Affiliated Cemetery
Having a place to spend time after a loss, a dedicated place where you can find comfort, will make all the difference to those left behind. We will help you to create the perfect lasting memorial. Honoring Veterans
At Allnutt, we are eternally indebted to our military veterans who courageously serve our nation and protect our freedom. We honor our veterans by assisting their families with obtaining all veterans' benefits, Social Security benefits and life insurance benefits. Precious Pals Pet Services
The death of a family pet is often the first experience of death for children. As such, it gives you a unique opportunity to help them celebrate life, and helps your family heal from the loss. At such a time, you can turn to us with confidence. We will help you make the best decision for you and your animal companion. We server all of Northern Colorado.
