Labor Doula Training Life coaching and birth coaching (as a Doula) are roles which have chosen me as part of my calling. Support others and building them up is a fundamental component of who I am as a person. I know how important non-judgmental, personal, and devoted support is and I tailor my practice to the specific needs of each client. I possess a deep appreciation for the threads of success and kindness which run deep through all of us. As a life coach, I bring together my disparate life experiences and channel them into a deep desire to help my clients see their best selves. I firmly believe relationships are vital to good health. And, your loving relationship with yourself is not the icing on the cake but rather the main ingredient in creating a successful and satisfying life. I have a special fondness for helping new parents and parents-to-be through all stages of parenting and childbirth. I raised my own child as a young, single parent and I know firsthand the unique and chaotic challenges of balancing life and self while parenting babies through adulthood. With my background in postpartum planning, feeding support, nutrition, and mental health, I’m able to support the whole birthing person—not just the baby—which feels so important to me. Hi, Katie here! Along with Julianne, I'm the cofounder of NoCo Doula Collective.

I doula because for as long as I can remember I have been obsessed with all things pregnancy, birth, and babies! Becoming a doula felt like a natural way to support families by helping them feel informed, confident, and truly heard. I believe this journey is incredibly special, and it’s truly an honor to walk alongside families during such an important time in their lives. My ultimate goal is for every family to feel heard, supported, and actively involved in the birth of their baby and beyond 💕

Kyria is another one of our amazing team members ⭐️ She is a not only a Certified Labor Doula but also a NICU trained doula and Certified Lactation Counselor. Kyria told us,

Hey, Julianne here 👋

I'm the co-founder of NoCo Doula Collective (shout out to my partner in crime, Katie Piccolo!) and in honor of World Doula Week, I want to introduce our team and share what motivates each of our incredible team members in their doula work.

I'll kick us off by sharing that I doula because I believe no family should navigate birth or early parenthood alone. Every family deserves support, advocacy, and the opportunity to experience birth in a positive and empowering way. My mission is to help families not only feel supported in the moment, but to build a lasting village that will hold them long after their baby arrives.

I can't wait to share more about our NoCo team in the coming days. I'm biased, but it's a pretty badass group of women 😘
