We have an awesome treatment for Demodex!

Microscopic organisms called eye mites, scientifically known as Demodex, live naturally on human skin, especially around the eyelids and eyelashes. Nearly everyone carries them, and they typically cause no issues. These tiny creatures feed on oils and dead skin cells produced by the eyelid glands.

Eye mites are most active at night, when they emerge from hair follicles to move and reproduce. Like all living beings, they leave waste behind on the lashes. In low numbers, this isn't noticeable—but an overpopulation can irritate the eyes.

An excess of mites can cause symptoms such as itching, redness, burning (especially in the morning), flaky debris at the lash line, or a gritty sensation. This is often linked to blepharitis, a type of eyelid inflammation.

Maintaining good eyelid hygiene and proper treatment can manage mite levels and ease discomfort.
