The Bipolar Battle, Inc. The Bipolar Battle, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit whose mission is to empower those living with bipolar disorder.

John Poehler was diagnosed with bipolar disorder type 1, back in 1999. He made it his focus to fight for his health, and to take back control of his life. In April 2017, John created the blog - The Bipolar Battle - in an effort to help support others waging the same battle as himself. Over the course of the next few years, he published his first book - This War Within My Mind - and launched The Bipolar Battle podcast. March 2021, John decided to turn his advocacy efforts into a nonprofit organization - The Bipolar Battle, Inc. The mission is still the same: "To empower those living with bipolar disorder."
