Hello everyone I haven't posted here in way to long but I wanted to share some information that may get missed by a regular doctor or even a specialist. I have seen this over and over in my 28 years in practice, and while I worked in an Orthopedic office and it even then it was never a question that was asked by doctors!!
I had a young lady come in this week as a new client with visits to a long list of doctors and even a couple of hospital specialists for headaches. One of the questions I ask new headache clients is DO YOU CHEW GUM? The other thing to consider is a lot of gum has artificial flavors or sweeteners another thing that can cause people headaches.
Gum chewing can be a very big issue and can create severe tightness in the head, jaw and neck! It can be a serious issue when one of the strongest muscles in the human body are essentially exercising for hours.
CHEWING is exercising the muscles of the jaw and face and in some cases for hours one piece after the other.

Just wanted to share!
