Antoinestale

Antoinestale Antoine and his specially-abled pack face adversity with incredible resiliency and dogged determination. His book and stuffie are available in link below.

Follow along for their healing journeys, adventures about the farm, and pack pet therapy visits. Antoine’s journey is one of love, determination and friendship. Born with rigid paralysis of his hind legs—a complication of the infection Neospora, Antoine was rescued by Janet Curran, a longtime animal advocate in Kansas, and brought to Colorado State University for treatment. His subsequent rehabilitation led him to Connie Fredman’s Canine Health Resort in Colorado where he learned to walk again. Now his life is now filled with playful days, continued rehabilition and giving back to others as therapy dog.

Can’t blame a guy for trying to be a little creative at his therapy session circa 2023. I’ve always loved my rehab time

Video description: This rehabilitation session was a little over two years ago when Antoine was still walking unassisted by a wheelchair. Antoine is a survivor of the neospora parasite that left him with deformities to his hind limbs. He’s wearing a black customized brace on one rear leg and both legs are wrapped in layers of gauze and athletic tape.
