One of acupuncture's major strengths is how it supports your body's WHOLE health! Even when acupuncture is used to support a specific issue or part of your body, that work is always done in relationship to balancing and strengthening your ENTIRE body and all of your organs.
That is largely why acupuncture is so successful! It is always systemic in its approach to health and wellness!

The more serious your discomfort, the greater the frequency until you're doing better and it can be dialed down. THEN occasional treatments can keep the problems at bay!
We witness it working this way day after day!
A favorite "pain story" is of an 83 year old man with "level 8-10" pain daily for the last 6 months. He had tried everything, he said, adding that he'd begun to think he'd die with this level of pain. His 1st treatment reduced his pain to a 3 for a couple days, then it went back up. He kept coming in and, treatment by treatment, his less-pain and no-pain periods grew longer and longer. By his 12th treatment he was consistently at a 0-1 pain level and began to come in only monthly for prevention.
THAT is how acupuncture works!
