For a long time now, I have taught that depth is a location, not a pressure. As my practice has revolved around working with the body instead of on it, often I find the less input the better. It feels respectful to only provide enough stimulus and support where needed, versus using my body to beat up yours! I wish deep tissue didn’t equate to deep pressure in people’s minds, because remember - depth is a location not a pressure.
