Running doesn’t have an expiration date.

We had an awesome group at our “Built to Last” workshop learning how to stay strong, move well, and keep doing what they love for years to come.

Because running longer isn’t about luck, it’s about doing the right things consistently.

If you want to keep showing up for your miles 10, 20, even 30 years from now… this is where it starts.

Want to keep running longer? Visit our website or reach out, we’d love to help you get there.

Hallie. High school track runner. She was gritting her teeth through early mornings, long runs, track workouts… all of it.

She was still running, still hitting her workouts, but every stride, that constant hamstring pain was there. Tight, pulling, not quite right. The kind of thing you try to run through because it’s “not that bad,” until it starts messing with your pace, your form, your confidence.

That’s usually how this goes for runners.

A few weeks later, she’s running smoother, opening up her stride again, and not worrying about her hamstrings every step of the way.

We didn’t pull her from running. Didn’t just tell her to rest and lose fitness.

We looked at how she moves, how she loads, what her body actually needs to handle mileage and workouts, and built her back up so she can keep training without that constant nagging feeling. That’s the difference.

Thank you for trusting us, Hallie.

If you’re a youth athlete dealing with something that keeps showing up on your runs, during workouts, or the day after, it’s worth getting it looked at before it turns into something that really sets you back.

Christian Powell. Sophomore at Severance. Starting guard. Top 20 in the country. MVP.

Came in to work with us dealing with knee and hip pain.

He’s playing at a high level, practicing a ton, games, travel, everything… and like a lot of athletes in that spot, stuff just starts to add up. Nothing crazy at first, just enough to notice it, play through it, then it keeps showing up.

That’s usually how this goes.

6 weeks later, he’s moving better, feels better, and more importantly, not thinking about it every time he’s on the court.

We didn’t shut him down. Didn’t tell him to just rest and wait it out.

We actually looked at what was going on, cleaned up a few key things, and built him back up so he can handle what he’s asking his body to do.

That’s the difference.

Appreciate you, Christian.

If your kid is dealing with something that keeps popping up during practice, after games, or just “doesn’t feel right” but hasn’t gone away… it’s worth getting it looked at before it turns into something bigger.

Shoot us a message or book a call and we’ll help you figure out the next step.

We’ve been hard at work behind the scenes the past few months…

A lot of time, effort, and honestly a lot of money has gone into upgrading our space to continue delivering next-level care for our patients.

We’re especially excited about a few of the additions 👇
🧗‍♂️ A brand new rock climbing wall
🏊 A full Olympic-size swimming pool
🧠 A Ninja Warrior course running right through the clinic
🏓 And now… a regulation indoor pickleball court

Given that Fort Collins is home to some legit American Ninja Warrior talent (shoutout to the Wolfpack), we felt it was only right to create a space that can properly support athletes at that level.

We’ve also made some important upgrades to the patient experience 🐶🎉
A therapeutic puppy waiting area, a mood-elevating ceiling fan with festive streamers, and a few other surprises we think you’ll love when you come in.

Big things happening over here… we’re just getting started.

Happy April Fool’s Day 😅

Ever feel like one hip is tighter than the other? Or one leg just feels stronger when you run, lift, or hike?

You’re not imagining it... and it’s more common than you think. Each imbalance and asymmetry has adds to an important context... maybe a finding can contribute to nagging pain, stiffness, or even recurring injuries if they go unaddressed.

At Up and Running, our high-tech and hands-on assessment takes the guesswork out of it.
We use high-end tools like the ActivForce (to measure force output and to test mobility) to identify real differences in strength and range of motion... from your hips and knees to your core and shoulders.

💡 You’ll walk away with:
✔️ Clear numbers on how your body moves side to side
✔️ A personalized breakdown of what might be holding you back
✔️ A game plan to correct imbalances and stay injury-free

Whether you’re coming back from injury or just want to perform at your best... this is where we start.

If you’ve ever tried to fix your running form by guessing… scrolling through mixed advice online… or changing something only to feel more pain, you’re not alone. Most runners never learn what actually matters in their stride or how their form connects to injury.

That’s exactly why we’re running this workshop.

You’ll learn the key elements of running form that truly influence pain and performance, see live gait analysis with slow motion and AI tools, and actually try the drills and exercises we use every day with injured runners. The goal is simple: give you clarity, give you tools, and help you feel more confident every time you run.

🌟 Free to attend. Limited to 12 runners so everyone gets attention.

Sometimes you gotta ditch the science and do something dumb for the fun of it.

We tried no-hands burpees at the clinic today. No, it’s not evidence-based. Yes, it was harder than expected. And yes, we’ll probably feel it tomorrow.

But here’s the thing... movement should be fun. Especially when you’re surrounded by people who love to push limits (even ridiculous ones).

So if you’re looking for a new party trick or just a good laugh... try it, film it, and tag us.

Overhead stability isn’t just for lifters.

Dr. Conner breaks down why this matters for everyone, not just barbell athletes. Whether you're pressing weight, loading your carry-on, swinging a tennis racquet, or tossing a ball with your kid, strong and stable shoulders keep you doing the things you love without pain or hesitation.

Start with kettlebell 90/90 holds to build control through motion. Then layer in a press. Then walk with it. If that bell is tipping all over the place, you’ve found your weak link, and now you know how to fix it.

Train for real life, not just the gym.

Runner or ball sport athlete coming back from an injury? Don’t rush the process.

Dr. Becca breaks down the best way to rebuild your body, starting with simple, controlled movements that rebuild strength and coordination. Once you nail that, you add speed and side-to-side work to prepare for the demands of your sport.

This isn’t about quick fixes. It’s about coming back stronger and smarter so you can stay in the game longer.

Overhead lifts bugging your shoulder? Or maybe you're an overhead athlete looking to stay sharp?

This move from Dr. Chandler targets exactly what most people miss: control and strength through the full range. Not just pressing up, but how you get there. That slow pullback and rotation? It’s money for shoulder health and performance.

Start with three sets of 10. No pain, smooth movement, full control. Once that feels solid, grab a dumbbell and level it up. Don’t rush it. Own the pattern first.

This is how you train smarter, not just harder.
