The greatest blessing we have as human beings is the power of choice. We make so many decisions and take many actions during the day, and often we will have to make the tough decision, we will be called to make a choice that is in alignment, and in the best interest of the life we desire to live, but it will make us sad to do so.

It may mean we are moving, or giving up someone, or a life that we have loved, but has run its course.

A huge purpose in life is for us to feel our feelings deeply without judgment or denial. Feelings are meant to be felt and once we do this they begin to move through us clearing the way for our next life experience. 🌼

(I would rather adjust my life to your absence than adjust my boundaries to accommodate your disrespect.-)

GASLIGHTING - An insidious tactic the Narcissists use to make us question our own sanity.

Narcissists will use this as a means to maintain power and control over us. They want us to question our perceptions of what is real. They want us to rely on them for what is real.......that way, they can lie to us, and tell us THEIR version of the truth. They want us to think we are losing our minds. They want to call us crazy. They want to "prove" to the world that we are unstable.

Annie Kaszina explains; "Toxic people always cover their tracks by behaving vilely towards you and then “explaining” their behavior in terms of what is wrong with you.
The bottom line is that a loving person would respect your sensitivity and go out of their way NOT to hurt you.
A toxic person will deliberately hurt you and then get the added joy of punishing you for showing the pain that they caused."

It's really shocking when you know and understand a narcissist. Whatever they seem to others, their way of thinking is nothing that an average person could imagine themselves doing and thinking. So much of our lives and relationships are driven by empathy and emotional connection, but the narcissist's relationship is driven by hate, evil, greed, selfishness, and the need to manipulate and inflict pain on others. It's like they're an alien species bent on destroying us.
