In Loving Memory of Edith Dore...
September 25, 1964 – December 25th 2025
On Thursday, December 25th at 5:45 PM, my dear friend, colleague, loving mother, daughter, sister and my mentor Edith Dore passed away, surrounded by the deep love of her family and friends. While we mourn the loss of her physical presence, we celebrate a life lived with incredible purpose, curiosity, and an unshakeable love for everyone she encountered.
I had the honor of meeting Edith 8 years ago and we became instant friends. Our friendship was deeply meaningful and rooted in mutual respect and love. She and I shared a common bond about health and wellness. She was my trusted advisor for many years with the anything related to the spa industry.
Her guidance and wisdom were immeasurable.
Edith joined our Soak Spa family in May 2019, and she brought with her a lifetime of wisdom. For nearly twenty years, she was a immersed in the field of Health and Wellness. From co-owning a Traditional Chinese Medicine clinic to her mastery of Tui Na, Swedish, and Medical Massage, Edith’s hands were vessels of healing. Her brilliance wasn't contained to the massage table; as a licensed Instructor for Gerson Therapy©, she dedicated her life to educating others on how to combat chronic disease and reclaim their vitality.
At Soak Spa, Edith was our "on-call" Massage therapist—not because she had to be, but because she valued the gift of touch too much to let it go. She was instrumental in guiding our team, always eager to share her vast knowledge of the body with our newer therapists.
She taught us that to be a healer is to be a perpetual student.
Edith was a woman of "both sides of the brain." While she mastered the healing arts, she also thrived in the worlds of finance and marketing, recently completing her licensure as a Colorado Real Estate Associate Broker. She lived life at full throttle—whether she was practicing yoga, deepening her spiritual life, or riding her Harley Davidson into the wind.
Above all her professional accolades, Edith’s heart belonged to her family, especially her beloved son, Nicholas.
Edith, thank you for your zest, your sharp mind, and your healing hands. You have left an indelible mark on my life and every life you touched. You are deeply missed, but your gentle spirit will be carried in my heart forever 💗🙏.
