✨Let’s clear some things up✨
During a spinal manipulation, your bones aren’t being pushed back into place. They aren’t “out of line” and they aren’t getting moved around. That popping sound is from the joint separating briefly which changes the pressure inside the joint, making little gas bubbles. So the pop, it’s just the bubbles!🫧💥
The important part is what happens in your nervous system. The quick stretch wakes up sensors in your joints and muscles. They send messages to your brain that calm down pain signals, relax tight muscles, and help you feel less stiff. That’s why you feel lighter and looser afterward.
While your bones are not being realigned, you do feel a very real functional change!
