Brainspotting Writer's Retreat: "My (True) Story: Using Fiction, Memoir, and Poetry to Deepen Healing"

"Where You Look Affects How You Write" / formerly Stepping Stones (title and work approved by David Grand)

This is a drop-in, monthly Brainspotting writing group to help you tell your story.

It is appropriate both for those with no writing experience and for those who are seasoned writers. We use Brainspotting in each group meeting. However, this is not Brainspotting to process trauma. We start with group Brainspotting to help create group cohesiveness, and GazeSpotting to help access creativity.

Mary Jane O'Rourke and I are so excited to announce 2 new group offerings in 2023: Deep Learning Series: Clinical Quandaries (a 5-week education series) and The Healing Village (a 10-week support group).

The Deep Learning Series: Clinical Quandaries is $400 and the first five topics are: Fibromyalgia, Spinal disc issues, Cancer diagnosis, Tinnitus, and Pre- and Post- surgery issues. The next 2 groups start on March 22nd (every other Wednesday 10-12pm MT) and April 3rd (every Monday 10:30-12:30pm MT).

The Healing Village is a 10-week support group. The entire Healing Village will experience opportunities for personal and group growth each week, and one person each week will benefit from a session dedicated to them. This will allow them to tell their story and experience Brainspotting with the focused support of the group. The group is $800 for 10-week series & is only available for those who HAVE taken From Freeze to Thaw. We'll be offering two groups that meet on Wednesdays 12:30-2:30 MT. The next group starts on March 22nd.
