✨ Lesson 4 Recap ✨
“You will not be able to overthrow them” Acts 4:32–5:42

Man may try to silence truth, but God’s work cannot be stopped. The early believers walked in unity and bold obedience, trusting that if God was behind it, nothing could stand against it.

What a reminder for us today: stand firm, trust God, and keep walking in faith no matter the opposition.

So thankful for the wisdom shared, the hearts opened, and the sisterhood growing deeper each week.

✨ PWOC Week Two - Acts 2:1–47 ‘I will pour out my soul’ ✨

So thankful to all who came this week! Here is a quick re-cap for those who might have missed it!

Pentecost reminds us that God empowers ordinary people in extraordinary ways!
-The Holy Spirit came with power—filling believers and giving them boldness to speak truth.
-Peter proclaimed Jesus as Lord and Messiah.
-Hearts were changed—3,000 people repented, believed, and were baptized.
-The early church lived in unity, generosity, prayer, and joy.

Key takeaway: When the Holy Spirit fills us, our lives point to Jesus and our faith is lived out in loving one another.

“Repent and be baptized… and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” — Acts 2:38

✨ PWOC Week 1 – Acts 1:1–26 ‘You will be my witnesses’ ✨

What a beautiful start to our time together! This week we dove into Acts 1:1–26 and were reminded that God is always at work—even in seasons of waiting.

We reflected on Jesus’ final words, His promise of the Holy Spirit, and the faith it took for the disciples to obey and wait in Jerusalem. Their journey encourages us to trust God’s timing, step forward in obedience, and believe that He is preparing us for what’s next.

Thank you to every woman who showed up, shared, and listened. We’re so excited for what God is going to do as we continue through Acts together!

What a wonderful way to end the semester! Over the past few months, we’ve explored what it means to be rooted in Christ and how to contend for the faith through the book of Jude and a Jackie Hill Perry study. This week, we wrapped up the semester by creating these lovely gift bag tags, a meaningful and fun way to celebrate our journey together. Special thanks to our VP of Programs, Sandy.
