“We do not need to know the beginning of a child’s story to change the ending.”- Fi Newood
“We need to share responsibility. It’s easy to say, ‘It’s not my child, not my community, not my problem.’ Then there are those who see the need and respond.
We will be posting a wishlist for the shelter this week. The kiddos will be helping put this together. Also if anyone is interested in donating whether monetary gift, gifts for Christmas or gift cards for the kiddos to have pizza, bowling, skating, movie parties, etc. The staff and kiddos appreciate anything anyone helps out with. You can send a direct message, call (515)955-4222, or email kcardenas@yscnia.com or ajergens@yscnia.com to set something up!
Hope everyone is enjoying this lovely white stuff falling from the sky😊.
