PRP vs. Stem Cells — what’s the difference?

PRP stands for platelet-rich plasma.
It’s created by drawing your blood, spinning it in a centrifuge, and isolating the plasma and growth factors that support healing. Then we inject that back into the area we’re treating.

It’s your own tissue.
Your own healing factors.
Concentrated.

So why would we choose PRP instead of stem cells?

• When the injury isn’t as severe
• When the tissue has strong blood supply, like muscle
• When the patient is younger and healing potential is naturally higher
• When a lower price point makes more sense

Not every condition needs the most aggressive option.
The goal isn’t to upsell treatment.
The goal is to match the right therapy to the right tissue.

If you’re dealing with an injury and wondering which option makes sense for you…

Comment “HELP” below and let’s start the conversation.

Have you been told your joint is “bone on bone”?

That your cartilage is worn out.
That arthritis is just something you have to live with.
That your only option is joint replacement surgery.

What if your body could be supported to heal instead?

At Active Health Clinics, we focus on helping regenerate and support cartilage, tendons, and muscle tissue — especially in cases of osteoarthritis and chronic joint pain.

We’re not just masking symptoms.
We’re targeting the tissue itself.

If you’re dealing with arthritis, joint pain, or have been told you need a replacement…

Comment below if you’re interested in stem cell treatment and we’ll start the conversation.

Let’s clear something up about stem cells.

When people hear “stem cells,” they often think something controversial or unsafe. That’s not what we’re talking about.

The stem cells we use come from umbilical cord and placenta tissue that would otherwise be discarded after a healthy birth.

And here’s what’s even more interesting…

They don’t turn into cartilage or bone like we used to think.
They act more like a signal.

A powerful signal that calls your body’s own stem cells to the area to help repair, regenerate, and heal tissue.

It’s not magic.
It’s cellular communication.

If you’re dealing with joint pain or tissue damage and want to know if regenerative options make sense for you, comment below or send us a DM and let’s talk.

Regenerative medicine is not about covering up the “check engine light.”

It is about helping your body actually heal.

Instead of cutting tissue out, fusing it, or deadening it with medication, regenerative medicine works with the tissue that is already there. The goal is to strengthen it, repair it, and help it last longer.

That is a very different approach than simply managing symptoms.

Pain relief matters.

But here’s what she said stood out the most…

“It worked, yes. But my favorite thing is the people. Everyone knew my name by the second visit. You can feel that they care.”

That’s what sets Active Health Clinics apart.

It’s not just treatments.
It’s not just technology.
It’s a team that genuinely cares about the person walking through the door.

When you feel seen, known, and supported, healing hits different.

If you’re dealing with joint pain and looking for a place that actually listens, we’d love to meet you.

There was a time she needed the elevator just to get through the day.
Walking hurt. Biking hurt. Even getting home meant collapsing in a chair.

Today? She’s walking, hiking, and living without daily pain.
Sometimes the biggest wins are simply getting your movement back.
