Advancing the Patient Experience with Ambient Listening Technology.

We are excited to introduce ambient listening tools to streamline clinical documentation. By capturing appointment details through secure voice recognition, our providers can reduce administrative burden and prioritize face-to-face patient engagement.

So what does that mean for you?
🔷 It’s a secure voice recognition tool that helps capture important details during your appointment
🔷 It assists providers in creating accurate clinical notes
🔷It allows for more direct, uninterrupted conversation with your provider

Your provider will always review and finalize your notes, which will be available in the MHS GENESIS Patient Portal.

Most importantly: your provider will ask for your consent before using ambient listening during your appointment.

This technology is designed to support better communication, improve your experience, and keep the focus where it belongs—on your care.

April is Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month ( )

Col. Elizabeth H. Duque, Guthrie AHC commander, and Command Sgt. Maj. David C. Cook, senior enlisted leader, officially kicked off the observance month with a proclamation signing at the Guthrie clinic, recognizing the importance of SAAPM and everyone’s shared responsibility to reduce and ultimately end sexual assault.

Throughout the month, the Guthrie AHC SHARP team will host various events to highlight everyone’s continued effort to protect fellow Soldiers, Civilians, Contractors, and Families from the devastating and pervasive effects of sexual assault.

Combating sexual assault doesn’t end when April does. SAAPM is a reminder to actively participate, to stand up against sexual assault, and to foster a supportive and positive community every day throughout the year. 🤝

🏔️ The Standard of Excellence: Mountain Medic Challenge
Over the course of 48 hours, the toughest pushed their physical and mental limits to the breaking point. From March 25–26, these Soldiers faced a grueling gauntlet designed to find the best of the best.

The Quarterly Mountain Medic Challenge wasn't just a test; it was an all-out battle of skill and endurance. Our competitors took on:
🩺 Medical Simulation Lanes: High-pressure tactical combat casualty care.
🏃 Obstacle Course & Physical Fitness Assessment: Testing raw strength and agility.
🎒 Ruck March: Miles of grit under heavy loads.
🎯 Weapons Qualification & Knowledge Exams: Proving they are lethal Soldiers and subject matter experts.
🎖️ Military Board: Demonstrating professional poise under the scrutiny of leadership.

🏆 Our Winners
The competition was fierce, but one Soldier and one NCO rose above the rest.

Please join us in congratulating our winners, who were both awarded the Army Commendation Medal for their outstanding performance: Spc. Miguel A. Reyna and Sgt. Alexander Rocha.
