Mindfulness Monday 🌟

We’re days away from a new year, and the pressure to “be a whole new person” can be loud.

Instead of rushing into resolutions, try simple reflection rooted in presence:

Tonight, ask yourself:
• What did my body carry me through this year?
• What am I proud of myself for surviving or choosing?
• What do I want more of in the new year — not just “goals,” but feelings?

Write a few answers down or just sit with them in silence.

📣You don’t have to reinvent yourself on January 1st.
📣You’re allowed to arrive in the new year as someone who is already worthy, already enough, already in progress. 💫

Mindfulness Monday 🎄✨

This week can feel like a lot: family, emotions, expectations, noise, and constant motion.

Here’s your permission slip to stay present with yourself, even in the middle of all of it.

When things feel overwhelming:
• Step away to the bathroom, your car, or a quiet corner.
• Place one hand on your chest, one on your belly.
• Breathe in for 4… out for 6… repeat 5 times.
• Remind yourself: “I am safe. I am allowed to take up space. I can return to myself.”

You don’t have to absorb every energy in the room.
You are allowed to choose peace in small, sacred pockets of time. 🕊️

I want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you who has supported me, whether you found your way to my table at Downtown Beauty Lounge or Rainbow Roots.

Both spaces have allowed me to create freely, express myself fully, and show up as I truly am and your presence is a huge part of what makes that possible.

Time moves quickly, and this year has been filled with swift transitions…each one shaping me, stretching me, and preparing me for what’s next. As I look ahead, it’s clear that the coming year will continue that beautiful unfolding.

This time of year can tug you in a hundred different directions — parties, plans, obligations, last-minute “Can you just…?”

Presence also means knowing when to say no.

You’re allowed to:
• Leave early.
• Turn down invitations.
• Choose rest over one more event.
• Protect your peace without over-explaining.

Tonight’s practice:
Before you say “yes” to anything, pause and ask:
👉 “Does this honor my body and my energy?”

If the answer is no, your boundary is mindfulness in action.
Honoring yourself is not selfish — it’s sacred.
