We’re so thankful for kind words like these.

Serving families with care, compassion, and respect is why we do what we do, and hearing that our work made a difference means more than we can put into words.

To the family who shared this review—and to every family who has trusted us—thank you. It’s truly an honor to serve our community.

It’s been a journey, but progress is being made and plans are coming together. We’re excited about what’s ahead and grateful for the patience, encouragement, and support you’ve shown us along the way.

Be sure to follow our page so you don’t miss updates as things continue to move forward. And if you wouldn’t mind sharing our page, it would mean a lot — it helps others in the community stay informed, too.

Thank you for your support!

Today we remember and honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and the impact he made through his courage, compassion, and belief in serving others. His message of love, dignity, and unity still matters today—especially in our communities.

On MLK Jr. Day, we’re reminded that real change starts with kindness, respect, and looking out for one another. May we continue to live out those values in the way we serve and care for those around us.

Honoring Our Veterans with the Respect They Deserve

One of the greatest honors we’re privileged to help with is a veteran funeral service. Military funeral honors are provided at no cost and are required by law for eligible veterans. We help families every step of the way to make sure these well-earned honors are carried out properly and respectfully.

Who is eligible for military funeral honors?
Eligibility is verified using the veteran’s DD-214 (discharge papers). This typically includes:

Veterans who served on active duty and were discharged under honorable conditions

Selected Reserve members who completed their service honorably

Veterans discharged due to a service-connected disability

What do military funeral honors include?
At a minimum, eligible veterans receive:

Folding and presentation of the American flag to next of kin

Playing of Taps (by bugler or recording)

An honor guard of at least two Armed Forces members, including one from the veteran’s branch

Additional honors may include:

A three-volley rifle salute

The U.S. flag draped over the casket

A final salute at the graveside

Veteran burial benefits we can help with
Beyond the service itself, we also help families work with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to arrange benefits such as:

Presidential Memorial Certificates

VA-provided headstones or markers

Memorial plots when remains aren’t available

Burial in a VA national cemetery

Assistance with burial expense reimbursement, when eligible

If your loved one served, it’s our honor to help make sure their service is recognized properly. We’ll handle the details, answer your questions, and walk beside your family through the entire process—just like a neighbor would.

If you have questions about veteran funeral honors, VA burial benefits, or eligibility, we’re always here to help.
