2026 Winter School Screenings this Saturday

Four-point screening (vision, dental, hearing, nutrition) is a Georgia state requirement for children entering public schools for the first time.
Eisenhower Army Medical Center hosts our 2026 Winter School Screening event for school-age children Saturday, Jan. 10, 2026 from 8 am to 2 pm.
The screenings include Pre-K through 12th-grade, ages 5-19.
Children must be at least 4-years-old on the day of screening.

🚧 Active Vehicle Barrier Maintenance
Tuesday, January 6

The work at each gate will necessitate the closure of all in and outbound traffic during the work period.

📌 Gate 6 will be open while Gate 1 is closed.
📌 Gate 6 and 5 maintenance will be performed after their normal closure time.

Closures:
Gate 6: 7 p.m.- 9:30 p.m.
Gate 5: 10 p.m.- 11:30 p.m.
Gate 1: Midnight- 1 a.m.

Please plan accordingly.

The Main Pharmacy will reopen Friday, January 2 at 8:30 a.m., and the PX Pharmacy will open at 9 a.m.

EAMC delayed start for Tuesday, December 16

EAMC’s clinical health services will delay opening hours Tuesday, December 16.

All clinics will open at 9:30 a.m.

This delay impacts walk-in services such as radiology, laboratory, blood center, pharmacy, occupational/physical therapy, and nutrition clinics.

Patients with scheduled appointments before 9:30 a.m. will be notified directly and rescheduled for the next immediate availability.

Inpatient, surgical and emergency services will not be impacted and will remain available.

Congratulations to Ms. Amanda Canovi from our ICU for a great catch, earning her the Patient Safety Employee of the month recognition!

Her attention to detail and adherence to patient safety protocols identified several learning opportunities and brought awareness to a broader issue involving a standard practice that had been omitted.
