If you honored it with one word today… what would it be?

Holiday meals are sacred. Here’s one healthy shift you can make today while you’re feeding the ones you love.

Most of us grew up with aluminum foil as a kitchen staple — wrapping everything in it without a second thought.

But here’s the part no one told us:

When aluminum gets heated — especially with salt, acids, or long roasting times — tiny particles can leach into your food.
And those particles don’t magically disappear.
They accumulate in the body.

Research has found aluminum in:

• areas of the brain affected by Alzheimer’s
• regions tied to memory and inflammation
• tissues under oxidative stress

Your brain deserves better.

And as someone who has lived through brain fog, autoimmune issues, and the long climb back to clarity…
I can tell you this:

This is one of those small, powerful micro-shifts that protects your inner terrain — especially on a day built around nourishment, love, and family.

Here are three clean, safe, longevity-friendly swaps you can use today instead of foil:

1. Parchment paper
A classic European kitchen staple.
Non-reactive, gentle, and perfect for roasting without exposing your food to metals.

2. Glass baking dishes
Beautiful, sturdy, and completely safe with acids.
Your food tastes cleaner, and your brain stays protected.

3. Stainless steel or cast iron
Timeless, durable, and non-toxic.
Perfect for high heat, crisping, caramelizing, and anything you’d normally throw under foil.

Bonus:
If you must use foil today, line it with parchment first so your food never touches the metal.
A tiny shift… huge difference.

Wishing you all a Happy Thanksgiving filled with nourishment, memories, and love.

Let’s Root for Each Other!

Families aren’t perfect.
But when they choose love over old patterns?
That’s a kind of healing money can’t buy.

This week — at the beginning of the holiday season, when emotions run high and old stories love to resurface — mine showed up with heart.
And that means everything!

Holiday gatherings can stir the past, but they can also rewrite it.
They can be a place where people surprise you…
where connection wins…
where love leads louder than what came before.

I’m proud of mine this week!

P.S.
I’d love to hear —
What’s a moment your family surprised you, in a good way?

People obsess over ingredients, but almost no one looks at the tools.
And truthfully?
Some of them are toxic — leaching chemicals, breaking down under heat, or altering the very food meant to nourish you.

What you cook with is just as important as what you cook!!!

Your knives, your boards, your pans, your oils — these are your essentials.
Extensions of your hands.
Gatekeepers of energy, flavor, and longevity.

Cheap tools drain you.
Dull knives interrupt your rhythm.
Toxic materials burden your body.

But the right ones?
They make cooking feel effortless, intuitive, aligned —
like your kitchen is finally speaking the same language of support your body has been asking for.

Longevity starts in the small choices — the ones you make every single day.

P.S.
Tell me…
What is your favorite kitchen tool?
One you absolutely can’t live without.

I woke up today and knew it was going to be a slow one.

Not in a dramatic way — just that clear, unmistakable feeling in the body that says,
“We’re not rushing today.”

So I didn’t.

Some days are for momentum and big energy.
And some days are for softening, hydrating, moving at half-speed, and letting your system recalibrate without the guilt.

With the holiday season creeping in, these slower days matter even more.
This is how we stay steady before December tries to pull us in every direction — by pausing now, resting now, grounding now.

Rest isn’t a sign you’re falling behind.
It’s a sign you’re paying attention.

If your energy feels low, tender, or simply quiet today — honor it.
A slow day is still a productive day when it supports your body.

Tell me…
Is today asking you for stillness, comfort, or a little breath of fresh air?

XO,
Sarah Ehrlich

The night sky.
A little lymph flow.
A reminder that connection is ritual —
a frequency.
And your body knows exactly
how to tune in.

If you’re craving a deeper connection
to your body’s wisdom…
I'm saving you a seat at my table.

Have you ever seen a trifecta like this?

Sometimes the universe throws a curve ball our way to remind us to lighten up.

A good laugh can reset your whole system
It melts tension, opens your breath, and gives your brain the oxygen it craves.
A tiny nervous-system revival disguised as humor.

So just laugh.
Let your shoulders drop.
Let your chemistry shift.
The world is wild… but you don’t have to hold it all so tightly.
