The Beachcomber is a family owned and operated addiction treatment center that offers outpatient and partial hospitalization services for alcohol and drug addiction. We have been serving the South Florida community for over 40 years.

💙 Staff Highlight: Dr. Vladislava Culina, MD

Dr. Vladislava Culina is a Board-Certified Psychiatrist and Addiction Medicine specialist who has been a cornerstone of Beachcomber Recovery since 2018. As Medical Director, she oversees all medical aspects of mental health and substance use treatment, ensuring every level of care is grounded in evidence-based practices, safety, and compassion.

From residential treatment to HIOP and IOP programs, Dr. Culina has played a key role in the growth and leadership of Beachcomber’s continuum of care, guiding clinical teams, supporting complex cases, and upholding the highest standards of treatment.

Beyond her work as a physician, Dr. Culina values creativity, connection, and balance, enjoying cooking traditional meals, painting, gardening, traveling, and spending time with family.

Her leadership reflects what Beachcomber stands for: accountability, empathy, and a deep commitment to helping individuals and families build lasting recovery. For over 50 years, Beachcomber Recovery has been proud to serve those seeking hope and healing, and leaders like Dr. Culina make that mission possible. 🫶

Giving Back This Holiday Season!🎄

This holiday season, the Beachcomber Family Center for Recovery was proud to donate over 500 pounds of food to the Poverello Food Bank, helping support individuals and families in our community during the holidays.

Recovery is rooted in compassion, service, and connection, and giving back is one of the ways we live out those values beyond our walls.

What began in 1976 as James Bryan’s vision for a safe, supportive recovery home has grown into a multi-generational legacy. Today, the Bryan family continues to lead Beachcomber with the same heart, authenticity, and commitment that shaped the very first program nearly half a century ago.
