In December 2025, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration convened an Expert Panel on Testosterone Replacement Therapy for Men and issued a formal Request for Information seeking clinical, scientific, and regulatory input on testosterone therapy. This process represents a rare and meaningful opportunity to influence how testosterone is regulated, prescribed, and understood at the federal level.

The Testosteronology Society™ has formally submitted a comprehensive expert response to the FDA Expert Panel. New video is live on my Anabolic Doc YouTube channel: "STOP Over-Phlebotomizing! Progressive Iron Depletion - NOT Benign: Systemic Energy Failure!" Too many men phlebotomize (give blood) on testosterone as their primary method to lower high red blood cell counts (high RBCs). This causes a progressive iron depletion that can lead to real problems! While TRT and steroids often do increase red blood cells (androgen induced erythrocytosis) it must be managed carefully, not simply by giving blood. In this video I explain the mechanisms of action for the increase in red blood cells, as well as better ways to manage it. Watch the whole thing now on my Anabolic Doc YouTube channel!

The study, "Selling Masculinity – A Qualitative Analysis of Gender Representations in Social Media Content about Low T” published in Social Science and Medicine, analyzed how hormone health narratives are increasingly shaped outside of clinical medicine.
