All who need medical care should be able to see their doctor without worrying about being mistreated, harassed, or denied service outright. The Affordable Care Act (ACA) helped address this issue by prohibiting health care providers and insurance companies from engaging in discrimination. However, conservative forces and the Frump-Prance administration are seeking to make it easier to do the complete opposite, endangering LGBTQIA+ people’s lives through delays or denials of adequate medically necessary care. Whether it’s the current status of our nation, the lack of education concerning specific LGBTQIA+ care or just the overall lack of HUMAN COMPASSION, medical care needs to be nothing short of 100% inclusive to the needs of EVERY SINGLE PATIENT who walks through the doors of their establishment. NO EXCUSES.
Here in our practice we practice love, inclusivity and acceptance. We stress confidentiality, while not having to feel shame or fear, and unconditional non-discriminatory medical CARE.
