This important community conversation will bring together leaders, clinicians, advocates, and storytellers to discuss health equity, HIV awareness, and the lived experiences of women across our communities.

🚨 LA CRISIS DEL VIH EN FLORIDA ES NOTICIA NACIONAL.

Más de 12,000 residentes de Florida perdieron acceso a medicamentos vitales contra el VIH y asistencia con seguros médicos el 1 de marzo — de la noche a la mañana.

El estado redujo la elegibilidad del Programa de Asistencia con Medicamentos para el SIDA (ADAP) a un ingreso máximo de poco más de $20,000 al año. Eso significa que una persona que gana $35,000 — apenas suficiente para sobrevivir en Florida — ya no califica para los medicamentos que la mantienen con vida.

Estos medicamentos cuestan hasta $4,500 al mes sin cobertura. Esto no es una decisión presupuestaria. Es una pregunta de vida o muerte.
