Last day of , my favorite practice is anything arm balances, second picture is my daughter and I playing around. This practice has brought me to a place of curiosity with my self and others. “The yoga pose is not the goal…The goal is to create space where you were once stuck. To unveil the layers of protection you’ve built around your heart. To appreciate your body and become aware of the mind and the noise it creates. To make peace with who you are. The goal is to love, well…You.”

💙 Day 5 throat chakra / a pose that helps you speak your truth

The vishuddha or throat chakra acts as the body’s communication hub. It’s where you find your voice, speak your truth, and sing praises—for yourself and others. This chakra is associated with speaking up and expressing yourself, but also with hearing and being heard. Philosophically, the vishuddha chakra is associated with truth, clarity, and responsibility.
Throat Chakra Affirmations: I hear and speak the truth. I am expressing myself with clear intent. I love to share my experiences and wisdom, I know when it is time to listen. I listen to my body and my feelings to know what my truth is.

💚 Day 4 heart chakra / a pose you love

The heart chakra, or anahata chakra in Sanskrit, is located at the center of the spine at heart level. Anahata roughly translates to, “unhurt.” Accordingly, the heart chakra acts as the individual's center of compassion, empathy, love, and forgiveness. Questions to ponder What does unconditional love mean to me ?
How can I cultivate the feeling of peace in my every day life?
Do I excessively self -isolate or I’m I overly dependent on others to feed my happiness ? How can I find a harmonious balance between the two?
Do you believe we are all connected? What does it mean to me to be a compassionate being?

💛 Day 3 solar plexus chakra / a pose that helps you feel confident

The Solar Plexus, or Manipura, refers to the third chakra. It spins in the area around the abdomen above the belly button up to the breastbone. Meaning “lustrous gem” in Sanskrit, the Manipura chakra provides a source of personal power and relates to self-esteem, warrior energy, and the power of transformation.
Questions to ponder.
CAN I TRUST MY INSTINCTS?
DO I AVOID TAKING DECISIONS FOR MYSELF?

DO I HOLD BACK FROM CHALLENGING OTHERS?
DO I FEEL LIMITED OR INVALIDATED BY OTHERS?
AM I JUDGMENTAL OF OTHERS?

DO I FEAR FAILURE?

DO I LACK SELF-CONFIDENCE?

If you have a dedicated asana practice, postures can tend to feel rote over the course of a lifetime. If you have a home practice, you may notice yourself doing the same poses in the same way, day after day. Yet like most things in life, whatever effort you put in to something, you get back tenfold. Infusing creativity into your yoga practice (whether you are a student or a teacher) can be the key to creating a lifelong practice that is sustainable, enlivening, and invigorating.
The poses hold within them many profound symbols and metaphors that can bring more magic and meaning to every moment spent in that pose.
