Jackie Schwartz LMFT, MCAP I work alongside you to treat behaviors, while identifying issues influencing behavior and creating new paths for your life. Contact me for a free consult

Life can be overwhelming and at times and you may feel very much alone. You may smile at others but inside are feeling crippled by pain brought on by negative thinking patterns or lack of healthy coping skills. You may be experiencing anxiety, insomnia, low self esteem, depression and repeating self destructive behaviors. Symptoms can manifest in ways such as over/under eating, isolating, marital conflict, drug/alcohol abuse, parenting problems and avoiding valuable relationships. Whatever the symptoms or behaviors, I understand that it can feel like no one can relate to or understand what you are going through. This may lead to loss of employment, strained relationships and feeling an inability to socialize with people. People who are suffering will often feel like they are losing sight of who they are and who they want to be. These negative feelings/behaviors can lead to helplessness, powerlessness and hopelessness. I work alongside you to treat behaviors, while identifying issues influencing behavior patterns and creating new paths for your life. My specialties include couples, families, anxiety, depression and addiction. Call for a free 10 minute consultation, and learn how I can put you on a path to a happy life.

You are allowed to look after yourself before looking after others!

You are IMPORTANT!

πŸ’œ As a love expert, I deem that loving ourselves is just as important, if not more so, as loving our partner.
β €
😊 Only when we love ourselves are we able to be present with our partner and truly accept their love.
β €
πŸ’œ Loving ourselves in dating means that we feel fulfilled in our lives when single as well as in a relationship. Loving ourselves single means that we are likely to have standards in who we date.
β €
πŸ’« Being yourself means having ultimate respect for yourself and living life in a way that is authentic to you. When in a relationship, it’s so important to bring your genuine self to the relationship.
β €
This means respecting and loving yourself enough to have boundaries and not being afraid to honor them. πŸ‘‰ Being genuine and self-loving means speaking up about your needs and being open about who you are and what’s important to you.
β €
β™₯️ Self-love is also self-acceptance; β€œI am who I am, I need what I need, and that’s ok”.
β €
πŸ’« When we withhold who we really are for the sake of someone else, it’s only a matter of time before the real you surface.
β €
πŸ’« None of us want to be surprised down the road when our partner seems different due to hiding parts of themselves early on in the relationship.

πŸ‘‰ The short answer is ANYTIME.
β €
πŸ’« According to the research of the Gottman team of scientists, couples wait an average of 6 years before doing anything about the relationship problems and depending on the nature of relationship problems, things can worsen by then.
