Holy Cross Medical Group (HCMG) adds a nationally recognized physician executive to its leadership team. Dr. Lawrence Ward has been named Chief Medical Officer and brings more than 25 years of experience leading clinical teams at major health systems.

In his new role, Dr. Ward will work with clinical and hospital leaders to strengthen physician engagement and help create an environment that emphasizes quality, safety and patient-centered care. He will also open an internal medicine practice on the first floor of the Guerrieri Family Medical Complex in Fort Lauderdale, giving the community more access to primary care close to home.
