Hey there Therapeutically Beautiful people,

This past week has certainly felt indirectly the heaviest. Found myself providing quite a few grief and loss sessions.

Just in case someone needed a reminder:

Grief doesn’t look like black clothes and funeral programs.
Sometimes, it looks like not recognizing yourself.
Or having to release a butterfly in honor of a life that didn’t make it past the time in the womb.
Or realizing your child may never be the child you dreamed to have as a parent.

Grief lives in the body no matter the type of loss experienced.
It can sound like silence. It can feel like anger. It can show up in a sudden way making you forget what you were saying mid-sentence.

And you know the therapeutically beautiful part of it all?
You don’t need to explain it.
You just need support while you grow through what you go through.

Save this for the next heavy day.
