Meet Your Optometrist

Dr. Ira Ettinger received his Bachelors of Arts from Rutgers University in 1979. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Southern College in 1981. Dr. Ettinger then went on to complete his externship at Shaare Zedek Hospital in Jerusalem, Israel in 1982. He then received his Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in 1983.

Dr. Ettinger’s hobbies include cooking and collecting ancient coins. He is an avid sports enthusiast for the St. Louis Cardinals. He attempts to avoid cutting the grass.

Dr. Ettinger is a 30 year Missouri resident and currently resides in Ballwin, Missouri with his wife Ruth and son Alexander.
