February is National Children's Dental Health Month!

Celebrate by watching these award-winning, short videos on brushing, flossing, and healthy eating to prevent tooth decay. The videos are part of the Healthy Habit All-Stars series using animation and sound effects to share oral health tips in a fun, easy-to-understand way without words.

I-Smile Dental Home Initiative state staff at Iowa HHS were recognized by the Association of State and Territorial Dental Directors with the 'ASTDD Excellence in Communication Award' for the videos!

LCHD Immunization Clinic is scheduled for Thursday, February 12, 2026 from 1:00-4:30pm at Trinity United Methodist Church (2330 Plank Rd) in Keokuk. The clinic is open to children who have no insurance, are insured by Iowa Medicaid or those who have private insurance that doesn't cover vaccines. Flu shots are available! If your child needs a lead test this can be done at clinic as well. To schedule an appointment please call 319-372-5225.
