Today our hearts were extra full at Birkwood Village Assisted Living.💕

Our Director of Nursing, Sarah, brought her precious newborn baby girl, Lainey, to join us for a special “Sip & See.” There were so many sweet snuggles shared, and little Lainey was as calm and sleepy as could be.

Moments like these remind us that we are more than a workplace… we are family. Thank you, Sarah, for sharing your beautiful baby girl with all of us. She made our day brighter in the very best way. 💗

Things were heating up at Birkwood Village for National Chili Day! 🌶️🔥

Our Assisted Living community enjoyed the bold flavors, the variety of chili options, and a little friendly competition. Thank you to those who volunteered as judges and to those who entered their chili in the contest. Congratulations to Tonya, Katie, Kari, and Brenda for their winning chilis!

Celebrating some very special team members in our long-term care and skilled rehab community! 🎉

Our Birkwood Village memory care residents started their day the best way possible: moving, stretching, and staying active together. Daily exercise isn’t just good for the body—it lifts spirits, sparks connection, and helps our residents thrive in meaningful ways.

And today gets even better.

We’re hosting a special Bridge to Memories Support Group meeting this evening with Andria Cain, who will be presenting Dementia Live—an immersive, eye‑opening experience designed to help us better understand the challenges of living with dementia. It’s a powerful way to build empathy and strengthen the support we offer our loved ones.
