I’m so proud of this mama. She worked so hard for her home birth. 💕 She wrote this about her birth:
I love this picture of my birth team (minus my amazing doula who took this moments after Ezra arrived) I love the joy on everyone’s faces. We decided on a homebirth 26 weeks into my pregnancy. I always wanted to do it but didn’t think I could and parts of it scared me with having the background in nursing, I just kept thinking of what could go wrong. We met my midwife, Jen, because she was our birth class instructor. The funny thing is I had been praying about switching to a home birth for many reasons and as soon as I met her and she told me she was a home birth midwife I went home and told josh I thought it was a sign and I was ready to do it, fears aside, my body was made for this! Jen quickly became part of the family, a stranger turned friend and someone we deeply trust to help accomplish the birth I had always dreamed of. My birth team was incredible and I could not have made it without each of them and their different roles and personalities pushing and believing in my strength. 💙 . Jennifer King Kitchton
