Meet a Carter Hears! Kid: 𝗞𝗮𝗹𝗶 🧡

Kali’s story is one of courage, adaptability, and incredible determination. Diagnosed with progressive hearing loss at age 4, she learned to navigate a changing world with strength far beyond her years.

Today, Kali shines through her use of live captioning to stay connected, learn at grade level, and express herself with confidence. Even on the hardest days, she shows up with resilience and a bright spirit that reminds us why early support, teamwork, and honoring each family’s communication choices matter so deeply.

Her journey reflects the power of collaboration between her family, educators, specialists, and Carter Hears! team members who continue walking alongside her. But most of all, it reflects 𝗞𝗮𝗹𝗶’𝘀 𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗱𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.
