Hey y'all thanks for visiting my page. I'm trying to make this page as much about educstiong the public increasing the number of organ and tissue donations as I am finding my own living donor kidney.
There are more 100,000 people on the National Organ Transplant Registry each year. According to Kidney.org the average waiting time on the transplant list is 3.6 years. That is approximately 2,246.4 hours spent on dialysis, minimum. Wait times can exceed 10 years on the waiting list for an acceptable organ.
I know it's a lot to to donate an organ to someone, if you ould save someone from getting hit by a car, would it be too much? Entirely too many people exclude themselves from being donor without knowing. They might think they're too old or because they may have a chronic illness or because they are not necessarily the same blood type.
Please, do not exclude yourself. take 20 minutes to complete the evaluation screening @ www.uchealthlivingdonor.org
Please invite other to like this page, you never who can/will save a life.
