Good afternoon, everyone. I wanted to let everyone know that I will be out of the office from November 14th through November 17th. I will be contacting my drivers that are due on the following dates: November 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th, 16th, 17th to get you in before your due date. This will be done not only because of my absence but also because...after I enter you on the National Registry (same day I do the exam)...it takes the National Registry anywhere from 24 to 48 hours to submit the information to the states' DMV Registry. However, I'm also asking all drivers to check their health cards if you're unsure of when you're due and...if you are due...please give me a call at 970-867-8001 or 970-370-3506 and let's get you in.
To my regular patients, if you're in need of care, I have open appointments available for you also. So please give me a call at 970-867-8001 or 970-370-3506 and I will get you in and provide you with the the care and time to address your concerns in the professional manner you've come to expect AND that you deserve.

Hello folks...I'm not in my guise as your Fall Harvest Car Show photographer nor am I in my "civilian" guise...I am speaking to you as Dr. Kallsen. I wanted to inform everyone that I will be out of the office Saturday and Sunday, August 30th and 31st and Monday (Labor Day), September 1st.
So...Drivers, look at your short form cards. If you are due this week and haven't called yet or if you are due on Saturday, Sunday or Monday for your CDL Physical, give me a call at 970-867-8001 or 970-370-3506 and I will get you in. Blessed Sunday to you all!

Dr. Kallsen again...I'm letting you all know that I'm taking an extended 4th of July weekend this year. Since I'm normally closed on the 4th and the 4th falls on a Friday, I will be gone on Thursday the 3rd and Monday and Tuesday, the 7th and 8th.
So, if you're needing care, please call in at 970-867-8001 or 970-370-3506 today, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. My hours will be:
Monday: 9:00 - 6:00
Tuesday: 9:00 - 5:00
Wednesday: 9:00 - 5:00

To my Drivers and/or employers/family of drivers: PLEASE CHECK your health card. Under this new F.M.C.S.A. system, they like you to come in a day or two EARLY. I WILL be calling you today, tomorrow and Tuesday to get you in but I don't want to miss anybody...especially my one year drivers...so please check your cards.

To my drivers AND my employers with drivers and patients who have family members...or who employ those...who are drivers: the FMCSA made this a rule in 2023. It was taught to us during my RE-CERTIFICATION CLASS last year. It was the result of fatalities that could lay the blame...sometimes partially, sometimes fully...on this:

"To have your CDL, you must be able to speak and read English at a sufficient level. Sufficient is defined as speaking and reading English well enough to converse with the general public, understand traffic signs and highway signals in English, respond to official inquiries, and make reports and records in English."

I just turned down another driver this morning because of this fact.

4th of July week! Always a little different when the 4th lands on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday but let's see what we can do.
Open Monday until 6. Have 2 spots open.
Open Tuesday until 5. Spots open.
Open Wednesday until 6. Spots open.
CLOSED Thursday the 4th.
Open Friday but it is filling up so if you need care before the long holiday weekend, please call!
Drivers/Employers: check those CDL Cards...if you are due on the 5th, 6th or 7th I will do all I can to accomodate you.

DRIVERS BE AWARE! I just spoke with Rose at the D.M.V. and their office will be CLOSED on the 4th AND 5th and of course, through the weekend.
