We offer state-of-the-art radiation therapy to help safely and effectively treat cancer. Our goal is always to create a plan that maximizes the opportunity for treatment success while minimizing side effects. Each patient is different, so our doctors will create an individualized treatment plan. These treatments are also faster and more comfortable than previously available treatment options. Our Doctors:
Our board-certified physicians have decades of experience, and work hand-in-hand with patients to develop custom treatment plans using evidence based cancer care and state-of-the-art equipment. Our practice also includes several Spanish-fluent physicians and staff. If your physician recommends a particular physician for your cancer treatment, we will pair you with them for the entirety of your time with us. Or, please give us a call to discuss your treatment options and we will match you with the best physician for your cancer diagnosis. What to Expect:
Radiation therapy is safe and effective. It has been used for over 100 years to target cancer cells while preventing damage to healthy surrounding tissues. Radiation therapy works by damaging the genetic material inside cancer cells. Once this happens, they are not able to grow and spread. Radiation therapy is often used in combination with other treatment options, such as chemotherapy, surgery and immunotherapy. The majority of cancer treatment plans include radiation therapy. Radiation therapy can be used for many reasons including curing a patient’s cancer, reducing symptoms caused by a tumor, and minimizing the risk of a cancer returning. Our annual Holiday Party on the Farm, which supports Golisano Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida, was an incredible success! Attendees had the opportunity to ride horses, spend time with Santa and Mrs. Claus, and indulge in delightful treats.
