At Barrington Terrace of Fort Myers, meaningful connections start with leaders who bring both experience and heart—like our Executive Director, David Saunders.
David joined the Arbor family three years ago, but his journey in healthcare began much earlier. Inspired to make a difference while still in college, David started as a Certified Nursing Assistant in 1999. After graduation, he pursued roles as a social worker and then an admissions director in skilled nursing, quickly finding his purpose in senior care.
By 2006, David was a licensed nursing home administrator, serving in skilled nursing for 15 years before transitioning to assisted living. He thrives on the hospitality side of care, finding joy in creating meaningful experiences for residents each and every day.
A lifelong resident of Southwest Florida, David has lived and worked in the area for over 40 years. His deep connection to the community fuels his dedication to ensuring that Barrington Terrace of Fort Myers is a warm, supportive place for residents and their families.
