Kind of, sort of a brag but not really! Logan's spending the night with me and as soon as he walked through the door "Grandma, you have anything for itching, I got bit by Fire Ants " Dab some of the First Aid/Healing Salve all over his itchy spots and within seconds, no more itching! About an hour and still little to no itching ......Sweet!!!

SLEEPY TIME BALM

Today's new concoction!!

It's supposed to be Relaxing, Calming and have "I'm ready for bed" Vibes.

Ingredients:
HERBS INFUSED CARRIER OILS BLEND, UNREFINED BEESWAX,
ESSENTIAL OIL BLEND, VIT. E OIL.

Apply maybe 30 minutes before bed to your temples,pulse points such as your wrists and neck, or use as a relaxing massage rub.

Contains no Dyes, no preservatives or unwanted Chemicals
Store in cool, dry place.
Always use clean dried hands to apply!!

Few things to consider when using handmade/homemade products:

No preservatives, hence short shelf life!

I'd like to average off at about 6 Months for the stuff I make which is why I've tried to remember to add date product was made on the label. Most of the raw ingredients have a shelf life of 1 year or more, so I figured half way is a good balance.

All products are for the most part anhydrous, meaning do NOT include water (or water-based ingredients). They are oil-based products that include liquid oils, solid oils, butters, and waxes.

Therefore generally speaking, oil-based products like homemade body butters, Salves, Lip Balms,handmade lotion bars, Deodorants, Herbal Balms don’t need preservatives.

Without the addition of water, they just aren’t prone to microbial growth.

Plus small batches so Items are not sitting around for a long period of time.

Points to remember:
Store in cool dry place.
Use clean dried hands always.
Spot test to make sure there's no allergic reaction.
