Yesterday, Shell Point's Veterans Group brought our community together to honor the men and women who have served our country. At Vue restaurant, a symbolic POW/MIA Missing Man Table recognized the veterans who could not be with us, and the Southwest Florida Concert Band performed patriotic favorites at Tribby Arts Center.

“Walk with Docs” brings residents and Larsen Health Center providers together for a stroll around Shell Point’s scenic Island neighborhood. This week’s walk focused on the topic of sleep, with Dr. Fahimy Saoud answering residents’ questions about how to get the best rest possible.

We are blessed and honored to welcome Ken Isaacs—“The Indiana Jones of Global Relief”—to Shell Point this weekend. As Vice President of Programs and Government Relations for Samaritan's Purse, Ken has spent more than 35 years working in disaster zones and mission fields around the world. During today’s Academy lecture, he shared incredible stories from his experiences on the front lines. Ken will also speak at Sunday's 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. services at The Village Church, where all are welcome.

From group fitness classes and an educational symposium, to a health and wellness fair with our team members and community partners, the week highlighted the energy that keeps our community thriving.
