We’re not anti-internet — but we are anti-mystery wellness products.

This week, someone asked for progesterone cream over the counter. When we explained that true progesterone is prescription-only, the response was:
“I can get it on Amazon.”

So we looked.

Many products say progesterone — but when you read the ingredients, there’s no progesterone at all. They may support hormones, but they’re not the same — and that distinction matters.

We even found one online product claiming 35 mg of progesterone, and honestly, we have no idea how that’s produced or regulated.

Hormones are powerful. Quality and safety matter.

If you’re unsure about something you see online, bring it in or give us a call — we’re always happy to help you sort fact from marketing.

💡 Insurance plans reset deductibles at the start of the year, which often means higher out-of-pocket costs until they’re met.
We don’t set the prices — your insurance does.

If something doesn’t look right, call us first — we’re happy to help explain or guide you on what to ask your insurance company.
