We are so pleased to announce a new addition to our team at Southwest Florida Eye Care, Dr. John Stanley!
Dr. John Stanley is an optometric physician with over 30 years of clinical experience in comprehensive eye care. He offers diagnosis and management of ocular diseases, vision testing, prescription eyeglasses, contact lens fittings, and co-management of post-surgical patients. Foremost, Dr. Stanley is dedicated to providing compassionate patient care and building strong patient relationships.
Dr. Stanley earned his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the State University of New York and his Doctor of Optometry degree with honors at New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts. Additionally, he completed clinical internships at the Manchester Veteran Affairs, South Boston Community Health Clinic, and Boston Pediatric Specialty Clinic.
Dr. Stanley is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Southwest Florida Optometric Association and the Glaucoma Society. He has also participated in the Voluntary Optometric Services to Humanity in Central America.
Away from the clinic, Dr. Stanley is an enthusiastic outdoorsman who enjoys golfing, boating, fishing and cycling. At home, you will often find him in the kitchen experimenting with new recipes and spending time with his wife, three adult children, three granddaughters and two dogs.
