A week full of gratitude, joy, and a whole lot of heart 💛

We celebrated our incredible volunteers at Cypress Cove with a lineup as special as they are:

🧩 A fun kickoff with a crossword challenge (and prizes!)
🎶 Doo-Wop & Soda Shop fun with sweet treats, oldies tunes, and a little nostalgia
🌈 A Rainbow of Gratitude to brighten every day
🍯 “You’re the Bee-Knees” surprises delivered with love
🐢 And a final thoughtful touch inspired by Earth Day. We sponsored a sea turtle that our volunteers can track as it navigates the seas.

Every smile, every helping hand, every moment you give makes a difference here. Thank you for all you do. This community wouldn’t be the same without you. 💫

What an afternoon to remember at the Cypress Legacy Society Luncheon!

Surrounded by good company, great stories, and the unmistakable spirit of a classic Louisiana seafood boil, we celebrated generous donors who continue to invest in the future of Cypress Cove.

From the first crack of the crawfish shell to the last bite, the afternoon was a reminder that generosity, like a well-seasoned feast, is meant to be shared.

Honoring heroes at this month’s Veterans’ Luncheon 🇺🇸

While our luncheon is a cherished monthly tradition, this gathering was especially meaningful as we celebrated two incredible World War II veterans—Mort McDonald (Navy Air Force) and Warren Fouch (Army), both Pacific Theater veterans born in 1927 and turning 99 this year!

Commander Lin Lovellette had the privilege of presenting them with veterans' club shirts—an honor typically purchased by members, but proudly awarded to these two remarkable men in recognition of their service.

Mort, a founding member and our veterans' club chaplain from 2016–2022, is also a recipient of the Distinguished Flying Cross—the Air Force’s highest honor.

The community here at Cypress Cove is deeply grateful for their courage, sacrifice, and legacy. ❤️

Proud to support a mission that’s changing lives 👏

Students at LARC in Fort Myers served lunch they prepared themselves at the grand opening of their new culinary kitchen. The program trains individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) to bridge hospitality workforce gaps.

At Cypress Cove, we’re proud to employ several of these talented students on our culinary team. We see their impact every day.

Our Director of Culinary Services, Laurent Bosc, was invited to speak at the event as an employer—reinforcing the value of creating real career pathways.

Congratulations to LARC on this incredible milestone. 🍽️
