As we approach Thanksgiving, we continued our annual tradition of handing out Publix gift cards to all of our employees. We are truly thankful for our amazing Amavida team. This year, we switched things up and let our Executive Director Tina take the lead as the turkey! Along with Kris our Associate Executive Director and Aimee our Director of Human Reources, we handed out gift cards to our staff. This tradition never fails to put a smile on the faces of both our employees and our residents. We’re grateful for the dedication our team shows every day. ⭐Honoring Our Heroes! ⭐ We had the privilege of hosting a heartfelt Veteran's Day Sing-A-Long for the brave Men and Women who have served our country. The love and respect shown to our Veterans reminded us of the strength of their service and the lasting impact they’ve made on all of us. We were honored to have special guest singer Tom Haney and Bill Podley on the piano, who treated everyone to beloved patriotic favorites and touching musical tributes to each branch of the military. We thank our Veterans, not only on Veteran's Day, but every single day for their courage, sacrifice, and unwavering dedication.

Today we celebrate Adriana our Director of Housekeeping! 🎉 Not only is her birthday today, but Wednesday also marked her 7-year service anniversary at Amavida! We surprised her with a cheeseburger cake which is a perfect fit since she’s known for always wanting a cheeseburger for lunch but choosing a healthier option instead. Our advice today: have both the cheeseburger cake and a real cheeseburger!! 🍔🎂 Thank you, Adriana, for your hard work, dedication, and the positive energy you bring every day.
