Our team spent the day at the Capitol for Developmental Disabilities Awareness Day 🏛️✨ We were proud to represent the individuals and families we serve while connecting with leaders and partners across the state. It was great to meet with Robert “Bob” Asztalos, the new Director of APD Florida (Agency for Persons with Disabilities), and Dawn from Disability Rights Florida to talk through ADT billing updates and ongoing improvements to the waiver.

This year’s theme, “Our Voices Matter,” was a powerful reminder of why days like this are important. Wearing those buttons throughout the day reinforced something we believe deeply — speaking up helps move things forward. We’re grateful for the opportunity to show up, listen, and be part of the conversation.

Congratulations to CRN Instructor, Kish, on her 15-year milestone! 🎉 If you have ever walked into Community Resource Network, you know Kish. Her smile, her laugh, and the energy she brings are impossible to miss.

For 15 years, Kish has shown up with heart, compassion, and a commitment to making every day count. From bingo games and summer activities to dance-offs, and yes, even willingly getting soaked with water balloons, she brings joy to both the big moments and the everyday ones. In between all of that fun, she never loses sight of what matters most: teaching, supporting, and treating every individual with genuine respect and care.

Those same qualities extend to our entire team. Kish is always ready to jump in, support others, and lead by example. Her presence makes CRN a better place for the individuals we serve and for the staff who work alongside her.

We are so grateful for 15 incredible years, Kish. Please help us celebrate her in the comments! 👏

Breakfast for lunch is always a win at CRN 🥓🍳 When it came time to decide what to cook at the LSP, a favorite was an easy choice: BFL. And honestly, can you blame them? It was a hit from start to finish. So good we didn’t even get a photo of the final plates 😄

Our hearts are driven by your needs

Community Resource Network of Florida, LLC. is an organization grown out of necessity to support those in need. In 2009, our organization began serving the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities. We started with 60 direct support providers. Based on the feedback and needs of the communities, in 2017 we expanded our services to include those without developmental disabilities that need compassionate individualized care in our community. We now operate with more than 275 direct support providers to serve approximately 500 individuals across 13 counties.

CRN provides services for individuals of any age - from birth to late in life - including Companion Services, Personal Support, Respite Care, Personal Care Services, Transportation, Life Skills Programs, Speech and Occupational Therapy, Homemaker Services and more.

While our organization continues to grow, our guiding principals remain the same. It is our belief that the needs of the individual should be at the heart of everything we do.
