Please join us in welcoming Carol Schneider to the Volunteers of America National Services team as our new Area Director of Sales and Marketing.
Carol will be leading all sales efforts for Assisted Living and Memory Care at Palmview Assisted Living at Gulf Coast Village in Cape Coral and The Preserve in Fort Myers.
Carol relocated to Florida from the Washington, D.C. area in 2000. Her career in senior living began unexpectedly when she helped her family find the right community for her great Aunt Mary after moving her to Southwest Florida to be closer to loved ones. During that process, the sales director of the community encouraged Carol to share her resume — an opportunity that ultimately launched what would become a lifelong career in senior care. Carol often shares that her Aunt Mary is the reason she chose this career path.
Over the past 26 years, Carol has built extensive experience across the senior living continuum, including Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Home Health Care. Her background also includes significant work in sales and marketing within the hospital and healthcare industry. Carol brings strong experience in nonprofit organizations, team building, event coordination, and fundraising, along with a deep understanding of the relationships that make communities thrive. Carol’s superpower is being able to talk to anyone about anything. She is passionate about helping families navigate senior living options and building meaningful connections within the communities she serves.
