Why the FLSWFMMA?

The Southwest Florida Chapter of the Free Market Medical Association was started to continue and expand the Independent Physicians Association of Lee County’s efforts to improve market education and options for health care services in Lee County. We are seeking and promoting price transparency in our health care market. Price is how buyers communicate demand and how sellers learn to seek market needs most efficiently. A free market (as opposed to a price fixed, government subsidized market) offers the most options at the best prices solving access and resource utilization with the best efficiency.
