With temperatures dropping below 40 degrees for a period of time, Lee County Human & Veteran Services and Housing, Outreach and Treatment (HOT) Teams will be in the community connecting with individuals who are experiencing homelessness to provide resources and distribute cold-weather supplies.

LeeTran - Lee County, FL Transit will also have a warming bus at the Lehigh Acres Park & Ride from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 6.

Additional information and resources are available on Human & Veteran Services’ (HVS) Reach app, which is a free download in the Apple App Store and Google Play. App users are encouraged to sign up for push alerts to receive timely updates.

SalusCare’s adult detox program has moved! The same compassionate care for adults detoxing from substances is now located at our Colonial Campus (10140 Deer Run Farms Road, Fort Myers), home of our Centralized Receiving Facility.

Outpatient Psychiatry, Therapy and Medicated Assisted Treatment (MAT) are still located at the Evans Campus.

With colder weather moving in this week, Lee County Government is coordinating with partner agencies to activate its cold-weather outreach plan. Lee County Human & Veteran Services and Housing, Outreach and Treatment (HOT) Teams will be in the community connecting with individuals who are experiencing homelessness to provide resources and distribute cold-weather supplies.

Warming stations and buses will be available at select locations Tuesday through Sunday, and The Salvation Army will provide temporary shelter on a first-come, first-served basis. Stay informed and access resources directly through the free HVS Reach app, available to download on the Apple App Store or Google Play.
