We were told 2016 is the new 2026 ✨

2016 was highlighted by two memorable moments: Bucks for Ducks during Breast Cancer Awareness Month and the opening of our infusion centers, built for compassionate, patient-centered cancer care. πŸ¦†πŸŽ€

Nearly a decade later, the heart behind those moments remains unchanged. What’s grown is how the Lee Health Cancer Institute continues to support patients and families across Southwest Florida β€” with expanded services, multiple locations, and care designed to meet patients where they are.

Same heart. Expanded care. πŸ’™

Understanding your cancer risk can feel overwhelming, but having the right guidance can make all the difference. πŸ’™

Meet Tresa Kim, a genetics counselor at the Lee Health Regional Cancer Center, who helps patients and families navigate how genetics can impact cancer risk, screening, and care decisions with clarity and compassion.

We’re grateful to have her as part of the team at the Lee Health Cancer Institute.

Pedal for a Purpose 2026 brought together riders, volunteers, and partners for an unforgettable night in support of the Lee Health Cancer Institute β€” and together, we raised more than $75,000 to help expand access to cancer care and support for patients and families across Southwest Florida. πŸ’™

From the energy on the bikes to the cheers from the crowd, every mile was powered by community, compassion, and hope.

A huge thank you to CycleBar Fort Myers and Suncoast Credit Union, along with everyone who showed up, clipped in, and rode with heart.

What began as a heart scan led to a life-saving discovery for Anne Frazier. πŸ’™

During the scan, an incidental lung nodule was found. From there, the Lee Health Cancer Institute team stepped in quickly, offering reassurance, clear guidance, and expert care every step of the way. Since the nodule was caught early, Anne was able to get timely treatment that ultimately saved her life.

Her story is a powerful reminder of how early detection and lung screening can make all the difference.

As we settle into 2026, it’s a good time to pause and remember what matters most. πŸ’™

This year, we’re choosing to be more present, to spend time with the people we love, and to make memories that truly count. Whether it’s the big moments or the quiet ones in between, connection is what stays with us.

Here’s to a year centered on time together, gratitude, and meaningful moments. ✨

January is Cervical Cancer Awareness Month, a reminder that cervical cancer is one of the most preventable cancers - and prevention starts with routine screening. πŸ’™

A Pap smear can detect changes early, often before cancer develops, helping protect your health and your future. If it’s been a while, now is the time to put yourself first.

Pedal for a Purpose is more than a ride β€” it’s a movement powered by community. πŸš²πŸ’™

This year, riders from across Southwest Florida came together with one shared goal: supporting patients and families served by the Lee Health Cancer Institute. Thanks to their commitment and generosity, more than $75,000 was raised to help strengthen access to cancer support services, patient resources, and innovative care.

When our community shows up like this, every mile truly matters.
